(From Gaydemon) Disruptive Films launched in August 2021 featuring cinematic porn movies from several well-known porn directors. Using award-winning gay porn performers and cinematic techniques, these directors weave provocative stories with hot sex. Each new release is usually 35 to 45 minutes long, and some are as long as an hour, allowing you to sit back and really get into the action. It's been 19 months since our last review, so we wanted to check in on this ground-breaking site.

The team at DisruptiveFilms is helmed by American adult film director, writer and producer Bree Mills, who brings in guest directors like Walden Woods, Michael Vegas, Mr. Pam, Ricky Greenwood, Matthew Lynn, Siouxsie Q, Steve Matts, and Jessica Jasmin to help push the envelope in their own styles. The actors are the biggest and best in Pornland, men like Derek Kage, Alpha Wolfe, Mason Lear, Max Adonis, Trevor Harris, Johnny Ford, Dakota Payne, Chris Damned, Brandon Anderson, Roman Todd, Dante Colle, and many others. The performers range from twenty-something, twinkish Jack Bailey to his costar, forty-plus silver daddy Dale Savage. The men have athletic to muscular physiques, a mix of smooth and hairy, tattooed or not, some with beards, and while most of the men are Caucasian, men of color AJ Sloan, Adrian Hart, Dillon Diaz, Kylan Kiddo, Ty Santana, Andre Donovan, and Deep Dicc appear in just over a dozen scenes.

The videos fall under several different themes like Taboo Men where "good men do bad things," or True Male that explores life, love and lust, and Deep Inside takes us into the strange and unusual places of the male psyche. You'll find provocative stories like "A Virgin No More" that sees Dale Savage inviting a shivering Jack Bailey into his bed to warm up. Jack is the son of Dale's best friend, a boundary that doesn't stop Savage from taking what he wants. "The Next Step" has Alpha Wolfe inviting his boyfriend to a romantic dinner to celebrate their six months, and while Max Adonis doesn't get the ring he was hoping for, he does get a night filled with passionate and sweaty sex. Drew Sebastian inserts a tracking device behind his stepson's ear in "By Any Means" so he can follow his every move and protect him from danger. When Sebastian discovers Tristan Hunter is exploring gay sex, he makes his move to fulfill a long-held fantasy.

Creative and stimulating stories and situations are only part of what you can expect and of course, there's lots of hot sex. The men kiss, suck dick, eat ass, fuck bareback mostly in duos, but there are 11 threeways as well. Each movie has a number of category tags on its page so that you can find more of the kind of action that turns you on.

Disruptive Films offers 102 exclusive videos in MP4 format that are over a half hour long, many are close to an hour. Full memberships include downloads, and these are offered in eight sizes: two HD versions at 1080x720 and 1920x1080, a super-sized 4K version at 3840x2160, and five smaller sizes. There are also streaming, mobile-compatible videos that play in an adaptive player as large as 1220x686 if you have a big enough monitor - otherwise they resize to fit your screen. The higher quality streaming videos are very good quality, crisp with good lighting and multiple camera angles, and they look good when enlarged to full screen. They also play well and look great on your phone or tablet.

There used to be quite a lot of interaction in the comment section between the members and directors, but comments from the directors have slowed. Still, members offer their praise and constructive criticism, and it's often thoughtful and interesting to read. The site also welcomes member ideas for future stories.

Each DisruptiveFilms video comes with a picture set, and the pics are good quality screencaps sized at 1920x1080. The viewer has forward and back controls, but there's no slideshow feature. You can save the pics one at a time or download whole sets in zip files. There are around 20 pics per set.

Let's talk about updates. The episodes are dated, and lately the site has been adding a new episode every Friday. The site has added 69 new releases since our last visit 19 months ago, and that works out to nearly four a month, but there had been at least one month where they added seven videos.

There's some bonus content here. There are nine videos from Adult Time's gay offering, there's another from Next Door Taboo, and one final one from Modern Day Sins. They added two Adult Time videos in each of November and December, then four in January, but there hasn't been one since then.

There are a few issues to be aware of. First, there's a pre-checked offer on the billing page, but it's easy to uncheck if you're not interested. Joining automatically signs you up to receive updates and commercial emails with no way to opt out until later. The trial membership doesn't include downloads but does allow you unlimited streaming. There's a notification pop-up on the tour (or sometimes in the members area), and you'll also get hit with a pop-up if you back out of the billing page to the join page. While not an issue, members are limited to 300 GB of downloads per day, which is a very generous limit.

One pet peeve is the members area has a flyout menu of the sidebar offering you different ways to find videos like Categories, Cast, Directors, and Channels. And since these options are already available on the sidebar, it's redundant. To make matters worse, it flies open on every page requiring you to close it again. Another complaint is that the model pages have no bio info or stats.

I really enjoyed Disruptive Films, and they keep getting better as time goes along. It's a treat to find a site that explores provocative themes and storylines and draw us in with sexual tension and scorching foreplay and sizzling hot bareback sex. Intriguing stories, titillating sex, lots of hot men and cinema-quality videography really make this site very different than the same old fare. There are 102 exclusive videos to download, stream, and watch on your mobiles, and the site now adds an update every Friday. I'm most thrilled about seeing many of my favorite porn stars going beyond suck and fuck action and exploring their acting chops. This is a great site, and I highly recommend that you check it out.
